Muhlenberg’s Film Studies program integrates with our Media & Communication and Documentary Storymaking programs, providing more extensive offerings than many large universities.
We’re also one of a select few liberal arts colleges with a production program—and you can take advantage of cutting-edge equipment starting in your first semester. (Recent purchases include a Blackmagic 6k camera and the newest Dracast X Series LED light kits.) Film studies students use our full-function TV studio to program an on-campus station. They regularly audition and cast exceptional student actors from Muhlenberg’s top-ranked Theatre Program.
Want to grow your experience beyond campus? Students can intern locally or in NYC or other cities, working for major studios and national TV and media, such as Paramount or MTV. Many students study abroad at FAMU in Prague—one of the best film schools in the world—while others study and intern in Dublin under the guidance of a faculty member.
