Yishen Lai has taught intermediate Chinese at Muhlenberg since 2016, also teaches Chinese language courses at Kutztown University and has taught Chinese and ESL courses at Lehigh Carbon Community College. She has experience teaching Chinese to children at the local Chinese School and has served as an interpreter. Before coming to the U.S., she worked as a Lecturer of English at Tsinghua University in Beijing. She regularly attends foreign language pedagogy conferences and workshops in the area and likes using technology in the classroom.
