Background

Soyoung Park is a New York based jazz vocalist, pianist and composer.   At Berklee College of music, Soyoung majored in piano/voice performance. Afterwards, Soyoung finished her Master’s degree Program in Jazz voice at Manhattan school of music in New York. Besides her studies, Soyoung was awarded in a Korean singer-songwriter competition called  Yoo Jaeha Music award in 2007. In 2016, Soyoung was named a top 6 finalist in 2016 Mid-Atlantic Jazz Voice competition, and was chosen for semi-finalist in 2016 Montreux Jazz Voice competition.   Soyoung has performed with Bobby McFerrin, Peter Eldridge, and also performed with many K-pop singers Beomsoo Kim, Sungmo Cho, Sohyang,etc.
