Dean’s Grants are available to students who are planning on conducting research on campus during the summer. Funding for travel associated with research and conferences is available through the Dean of Academic Life Office.
The Student Summer Grants program is administered by the Dean of Academic Life. Students submit a formal proposal to the Dean’s office and, if approved, they receive 1 unit of credit for the research, free on-campus housing and a $3000 stipend for 8 weeks of work.
This endowed fund provides financial support for students conducting research, particularly in the social sciences and humanities. Students must share their research plans and needs in requesting the funds.
Funds are available for students who are traveling to present scholarly work at conferences, exhibits or during performances.
