The Impact Is Clear
An assessment of the innovative Muhlenberg coaching program found that 95% of first-year student respondents could identify three faculty or staff who support their journey at Muhlenberg.
The best performers, the best singers, the best athletes, the best writers, the best executives — they have one thing in common: great coaches. The Muhlenberg College coaching program pairs every incoming student with a personalized team who ensures they maximize their potential and take advantage of holistic opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
Providing 360-degree support for every student from the moment they arrive on campus, the program builds on Muhlenberg's robust academic advising by pairing students with a career counselor and college life coach in addition to their faculty advisors.
Academic advisors help you chart your educational journey from as early as the summer before your first year. Your advisor may change as you declare your major but their stake in your academic success remains.
Deepen your involvement in Muhlenberg activities by connecting with a student life coach. These folks, who are sometimes older peers in addition to College faculty and staff, can offer perspective and guidance spanning all aspects of co-curricular and residential life.
You can work with a coach to help you navigate your Muhlenberg Action Plan (MAP). This will help you prioritize activities that will have the maximum impact on career readiness, all customized to wherever you may be in your Muhlenberg journey.
At Muhlenberg, you’ll never be just a number. You’ll build relationships with faculty committed to your growth and to helping you succeed.

“She nurtured me as a student but also as a person. Because we had fostered that connection together... it really made me want to keep going.”— Alissa Le '23 , Neuroscience Major
