The business administration program integrates practice with theory to prepare students to be organizational leaders. Students develop competencies in communications, critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills while in the program. In addition, essential business functions, from accounting to organizational behavior to business communications, are part of the curriculum.
The structure of classes reinforces the importance of experiential and team-based learning. Students are teamed up and work together on projects and presentations inside and outside the classroom. They are encouraged and expected to voice their opinions and reflect on their learning. Classes take many forms but generally consist of lectures with real-life applications of theory, class discussions, and reviews of assignments and presentations.
