How to Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Muhlenberg’s Federal School Code is 003304
- A 2025-26 FAFSA is required in order to be considered for need-based financial aid.
- Completing the CSS Profile is strongly encouraged for students applying for fall 2025 entry. This will allow you to receive a timely financial aid estimate along with your admission decision. The CSS Profile is free to complete for students who self-report income lower than $100,000 per year. Other students who believe the $25 filing fee is a financial hardship can request a fee waiver code specifically for their Muhlenberg CSS Profile.
IMPORTANT: Prospective first-year students can apply for need-based financial aid by completing the 2025-26 FAFSA when it becomes available. If a student does not intend to apply for need-based financial aid, they will not need to complete a FAFSA or CSS Profile and will only need to apply for admission to the College.
