Prosser Hall
Prosser Hall houses first year students and all rooms have AC units installed.
First-year students at Muhlenberg can fully engage in the residential experience by living and learning alongside their peers in two dedicated first-year residence halls: Prosser and Walz. Depending on availability, first-year students may also have the option to reside in Brown Hall. Located together on the west side of the campus, these halls foster a strong sense of community and provide a supportive network for students navigating their first year away from home.
Within each building, students have access to building lounges and common area kitchens. Dining and recreation opportunities are close by, as are other resources such as Campus Safety and Housing & Residence Life. Each student is assigned a Resident Advisor (RA). Our RAs provide mentorship, connecting students with the resources they need to thrive academically and socially.
First-year students also have the opportunity to participate in our Themed Residential and Affinity Communities (TRAC). These programs include our Global Corner Roommate Program in Walz Hall and our Gender Inclusive Communities within Walz and Prosser Halls. A new addition for the 2024-2025 academic year is our Substance Free Housing Community in Taylor Hall. This community aims to provide a supportive environment free from substance use, allowing students of all class years to focus on their health, personal growth, and academic success.
