Getting Involved
With an abundance of organizations, athletics teams, events and community engagement opportunities, there are countless ways to deepen your Muhlenberg experience.
After your academic advisor, your Orientation Leader is one of the earliest and most important connections in the first year. They will reach out to you over the summer and help you begin to think about your transition to Muhlenberg. Orientation is where you begin to form lasting friendships and come to understand what life at the College will be like.
We don’t expect that you will know everything there is to know after Orientation, so we have our First-Year Fridays Program that lasts throughout the year for first-year students. This program covers a range of topics that will make you a Muhlenberg pro.
An important part of learning how to be a successful Muhlenberg student is our Personal and Professional Development seminar, Foundations for Student Success. This course will teach you about campus resources and experiential learning opportunities and will help you develop important skills like time management, interpersonal communication and conflict management. These skills are essential to your success on our residential campus.
And of course, there are more than 120 clubs and organizations available for you to explore. Everything from academic clubs to community engagement to cultural identity to special interests, you’re sure to find ways to connect with other students and pursue your interests. And if you don’t find a club you’re looking for, you can always start a new one!
