Academic Requirements

Students enrolled in master’s degree programs are expected to maintain an average GPA of 3.0 and make satisfactory academic progress toward completing their degree. Most master's programs require ten courses to be completed one of which is the Capstone.

Application for Degree

All students complete the Application for Degree form. This form is used to order the diploma, cap, and gown and to provide the college with legacy, activities, and local newspaper information.

Culminating Capstone Experience

Master’s degree students complete a culminating capstone experience. For the Capstone, students select a project to work on for a company or organization. Students then build upon their knowledge gained throughout the program to design and implement the project. Their work is then presented to the organization and the Muhlenberg community.
