Muhlenberg Announces 2020 Faculty Rising Scholar Award Recipients

The Faculty Rising Scholars Award is funded by Richard C. Crist '77, P’05, P’09 and John M. Heffner P’96, as well as the collective efforts of the entire Muhlenberg College Board of Trustees. The College is pleased to offer the Faculty Rising Scholars Award to support the scholarship of tenure-track faculty and to provide exciting research opportunities for first- and second-year students. This year's recipients are:
- Yariv Fadlon, Assistant Professor of Economics
- Alexandra Frazer, Assistant Professor of Psychology
- Kassandra Hartford, Assistant Professor of Music
- Frederick Wright Jones, Assistant Professor of Art
- Jonathan Mathias Lassiter, Assistant Professor of Psychology
- Matthew Moore, Assistant Professor of Theatre
- James Russell, Assistant Professor of Mathematics
- Jorge Silveyra, Assistant Professor of Computer Science
- Randall Smith, Assistant Professor of Dance
The Muhlenberg College Honors Convocation is a formal academic ceremony designed to honor and celebrate leadership and scholarly excellence and achievement. This year marks the College's 172nd year of higher education and, due to the nationwide impact of COVID-19, the first time the ceremony was conducted virtually.
