Muhlenberg in Photos: EcoFest Promotes Awareness, Inspires Change

Wind and steady rain forced this year’s EcoFest indoors but didn’t diminish the enthusiasm of the event’s participants and visitors.
Sponsored by Muhlenberg's Office of Sustainability and the student organization enACT, the April 28 event in the Deitrich Field House was part of the College’s Earth Month activities, which included guest speakers, green initiatives, festivals and more.
A celebration of the planet as well as a way to inspire action toward a more sustainable future, EcoFest featured more than 35 tables with College and community offerings including a clothing swap, plant-based foods, a bike-powered smoothie station, sustainable products and local climate and sustainability nonprofits sharing information. Student dance and a capella groups performed throughout the festival.
