Muhlenberg dancers were among those who gathered last month in New York City to perform in Dancing Beyond, a benefit show raising money for the Dance Against Cancer Fund and the American Cancer Society.
Led by Heidi Cruz-Austin, assistant professor of dance, the Muhlenberg dancers performed “Grief, it brings the need, the naked freeze” — a piece created by Cruz-Austin for this year’s In Motion concert. Dancing Beyond, a collaborative performance effort that brings together a diverse slate of dancers, is organized by Earl Mosley as part of his Diversity of Dance program.
