Muhlenberg Welcomes New Trustees
Alumni Eric Hildenbrand ’00, Jeff Koehler ’79 and Sharon Mahn ’90 were recently elected to the College’s Board of Trustees and will serve three-year terms.Monday, July 8, 2024 03:43 PM
Left to right, Eric Hildenbrand ’00, Sharon Mahn ’90 and Jeff Koehler ’79Eric Hildenbrand ’00 is chief strategy officer and senior vice president at McLane Company, Inc., where he previously served as general counsel and senior vice president. He has been with the company since June 2013. Hildenbrand earned his bachelor of arts in political science from Muhlenberg College in 2000 and his juris doctor from Georgetown University School of Law in 2003. Prior to McLane, he was a senior counsel and compliance officer at GE Capital and an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Hildenbrand co-chairs Muhlenberg’s Emerging Philanthropists Committee, serves on the Boundless Campaign Alumni Committee and is a member of the Circle of 1848, the Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Society and the Loyalty Society. He also served on the President's Advisory Council and his class reunion committee. Hildenbrand lives in Temple, Texas, with his wife, Micah, and their three children.
Jeff Koehler ’79 is retired as of March 2022, having last served as senior director of sales at TD SYNNEX. TD SYNNEX acquired his previous employer, Westcon-Comstor North America, in 2018. Before joining Westcon-Comstor in 2016, Koehler worked at NWN Corporation and spent 12 years in various sales and marketing roles at Avaya. He earned his bachelor of arts in business administration and accounting from Muhlenberg College in 1979, his MBA in finance from Rutgers University in 1985 and his executive MBA in marketing management from Emory University in 1995.
A recipient of the 2015 Alumni Achievement Award for Service to the College, Koehler has supported Muhlenberg in a variety of ways. He currently serves on the Boundless Campaign Alumni Committee and is a member of the Lifetime Giving Society, the Loyalty Society and the Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Society. He also served on the President’s Advisory Council and the Alumni Board. Koehler lives in Southport, North Carolina, with his wife, Martina. They have two children.
Sharon Mahn ’90 founded Mahn Consulting, LLC, in 2012 and serves as its chief executive officer. Mahn Consulting, LLC is a leading domestic and international legal and executive search and recruiting firm based in New York City. Previously, Mahn was managing director and global head of law firm strategy at ZRG Partners, LLC. Before that, she was a managing director with Major, Lindsey & Africa, and, prior to that, managing director and head of legal recruitment at Cromwell Partners. She has also been a guest lecturer at the New York University Graduate School of Business and co-hosted the podcast The Weekly Rush. Mahn earned her bachelor of arts in political science from Muhlenberg College in 1990 and graduated cum laude with a juris doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 1994.
Mahn serves as her class fund chair and has a long history of philanthropic support and volunteerism at the College. She volunteered for a Career Center Roadtrip in 2019 and was an externship program volunteer in 2021-2022. In April 2023, she was appointed to the Alumni Board. Mahn resides in New York City.
