Courtney Stephens
Dean of Students and Director of Student Conduct
Courtney Stephens joined the Muhlenberg family in 2017 as the assistant dean of students and the director of housing & residence life. In summer 2022, she became the associate dean of students and director of student conduct. In May 2024, Courtney became the Dean of Students. Within this role, she supervises and supports the Office of Student Transitions & Family Programs and the Office of Housing & Residence Life, while still serving as the director of student conduct. She chairs the College’s CARE team, helps run the College’s coaching model, and oversees the curriculum for the Foundations for Student Success first-year course.
She considers herself fortunate to be a part of many students' lives as an ally, educator, and support system. She has previously worked at Lehigh University and Bentley University.
Courtney is a proud alumna of the University of Delaware, and has her Master's of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan.
